Red face Need some help.

Hi i just bought a new motherboard and a new processor. I know how to put in the processor and everything except the bios part if anyone could help me with this i would be very thankful. I have sort of flashed a bios before but i don't know what to do and it costs to much to fix this at a local computer shop.
Its a AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4GHz Socket 939, 512KB, BOXED and the mother board is Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe, RD580+ULI M1575, Socket-939, Crossfire XP3200, PCI-Ex16. The problem is that i know everything to know about pc's and i have changed some motherboards before but i haven't done the rest of the work like test the bios or whatever people do when they fix a computer.
Please help me.

What you will need to do is setup boot devices and their order in the BIOS. Press DEL when the PC starts and you'll be in the bios. Most stuff are auto-configured for you so you won't have to bother with that.

So set boot-order for devices (floppy, hdd, dvd-rom and whatever you have) and you'll be good to go.

Is there a particular reason you need to flash the bios?
If not then best to leave it alone.
If you must flash the bios go to -

Click on

and refer to the

Yes I agree with Sidney on this, if you dont really need to flash the BIOS then leave it alone!

The first thing that comes to mind for setting up your BIOS correctly is to RTFM.

Just in case: RTFM = Read the F****N Manual.
