Driver2 pal/uk protected???

can anyone help with driver2 pal/uk, is there a protection fix?? does it need a patch??

yes driver 2 is protected.i havent seen a patch for it yet on my travels,
it will let you get to the main screen, and even pick a mission, but it wont let you carry on

Ive managed to copy it. I am having a few problems but a few people on here have said they have copied it fine.

Playing the 3rd city now (2nd disk), no problems at all so far. Backed up with CDRWIN for reading, FireBurner for Writing as per usual. Nothing Special there, doesn't seem to be protected (unless the protection kicks in at the very end)

Try www.psxbackupworld.com there is a patch there for driver 2. I just downloaded it.

I have the same problem: l managed to copy the game and the intro works OK but the game hangs as soon as I try to start a new game or load a saved one. The patches at psxbackupworld.com are PAL-NTSC patches...do they solve this protection fix as well??

Try to make a copy with Clonecd using all option except "Simulate Writing"; I have made so and my copy works perfectly.

My friend has a burner and has copied driver 2 and has clocked it with out any troubles. He has also copied many games people are having trouble with using nero so try Nero.
