Hey Can u help me please?

I updated the Guild 2 to version 1.16. I cracked it, mounted on Daemon tools 3.47, but when i try to launch it by Securom 7.27 it doesn't work. Protection is detected. Note that Securom is a procyon one. I also tried by asr.exe but it can't see the .exe.

HELP!

Hi there

The link on rapidshare does not work for me and I would like to rather use a mini image than the huge one I have from my own CD. I have tried the one from ************* but it is only 5.7mb big and it does not appear to work. If someone could send me another link besides that of rapidshare I would greatly appreciate it.

Some new things. I placed ASAutoLoad.exe n asr.exe file in one dir, but I renamed asr.exe to AntiSecuROM.exe n then error message wrote me: "Gilde2. Necessary security component doesn't activating. This programm cannot be execute (10000)."
Of course, I created a shortcut of ASAutoLoad.exe, n I put a path to the game in there.
(used mdf file ~5.96mb)
And I don't know why patches doesn't works with my CD?!?!?!!! What a HELL!!!??!
Where I can find mini image strictly of 1.16 version of the game?

P.S. On Rapidshare I downloaded "Die Gilde 2 - Mini Image.mds" ~15,7kb. But corrupted.

mini image will not be strictly of 1.16, it'll be of whatever version the retail exe was (presumably 1.0).. patches do not (~can not) update files on the cd/dvd (read only)..

you need the .mdf , too, but i cant up large files and i thougt, he just needed the .mds so i uploaded it for him ^^

Yes, I know. Well, there is a system where I from: the game is not retail yet, but pirated version with the patches are already on the counters.

I downloaded 3 rar archives. There is just one mds file in 2 of them, n in a third were two files: mds(15,8kb) n mdf(6,25mb) with a mark "Crypton", that's all I can found. Why this don't work? It should be. Well known frase: "Did I missing something?"
When I'd patch a game it works only with old exe, but works, n only 5 min. It seems just textures were changed. I'm sure, that all bugs in exe file, well most of them.

I'm really wondering, the team behind the NoCD/DVD for Guild 2 is not going to produce anything until the official ver 1.2 patch (EN) comes out? (Which also means that it'll be AFTER the US launch!)

Hey everyone!
I managed to fix the problem when guild 2 warns of wanting you to put in the original cd in the drive when you instead want to start with your image (*.MDS) file.

Go in to your contolpanel and click on the administration tools.
Next click on "computer management or systemmanagement (have a swedish windows and its hard to translate to english, but click on the icon with a blue computerscreen)
Next you need to open the discmanagement (just under the defrag icon)
Here you need to manually change your Deamon Tools virtualdisc and your original disc drive letters.

Lets say when you try to start guild 2 and the program says, "put in the orginal disc in drive E:" (E: is your normal cd/dvd reader)
Then you need to first change your normal reader to for example I: and at the same time change the deamon tools virtual disc drive to E:, after this the game will autostart to the normal menu and you need only to click on play or "spielen" to get the game started.

This will not work all the time and the order you need to do this may not be the same as mine, I needed to do it one way with 1.15 and an other way with 1.16 . But IT WORKS...just try and change the driveletters at the same time as you start the game and try also when the warning apeears that says (put in the original disc in "blablabla")

It may also be needed to change the drive when the warning appears and click on "retry" when the driveletter have changed to the one the warning wants you to put the original disc in. And at the same time when the menu autostarts click on "play" or "spielen"...However, try different scenarios and the game will start, it works for me ....

I did all u wrote the only problem is that after i reboot my pc it freezes! So i had to remove manually SPTD files because they were conflicting with kernel debugger as told in the installation window of 4.06 Daemon version. Plus i couldn't remove Daemon from my pc. Now it's all fixed but:

If i install 4.06 Daemon i'll till have this issue on the contrary i couldn't play The guild 2.

Any suggestions?

The funny thing is: It does not work all the time. Most of the time it shows the backup msg, but after like 5 tries it started and it shows 1.16 on welcome screen.
I managed to get it to load like 2 times of 10 tries...
