Read the forum FAQ, especially entries IV/2 and IV/4. (You might want to start with upgrading DirectX...)

(Well, then wrong forum, moved.)

Yes, upgrade DirectX. Again, see the FAQ why the version number 9.0c has no real meaning anymore...

The forum FAQ is quite long and has a lot more ideas than just updating DirectX! Have you tried them all? If so, your final option is contacting the publisher for help.

[Edit] If you're saying that it's quite hard to download the latest DirectX from Micro$oft, you're right. I wonder how those goddamnfuckin' idiots are planning to beat Google in the game of web search engines when you just can't find anything easily on their stupid own site! Here's a direct download URL for you (took me like five minutes to find, GRRR!): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...7-cc576822aed4. This is a full, so-called "monolithic", download that has all components inside the package and, therefore, needs no Internet access during the installation.

Okay. Then, as I wrote, continue reading the FAQ.

PM = private message. Left click on the addressee's name here and choose "Send a private message to [...]" from the menu.
