Daemon Tools 4.06HE RELEASED!

New Daemon Tools is out now

Features:

- randomizer (partially also drivernames) enhanced
- some AntiBlacklist countermeasures
- bugfixes
- full vista support

SPTD:

- compatibility problems fixed (Tagês, Perfectdisk, MacDrive, Dual Core Optimizer)

Most important: DT now supports Starfoce4 (tested with Flatout2)
It seems as if all Starforce3 workarounds work as well.(nForce4 trick; USB-device; BIOS Hack for VIA and SIS chipsets)

nice work!

Yes, according to NFOrce, Reloaded cracked a SecuROM-protected release of it.

That's stupid imho, the euro version works fine with the US crack, so the money spent on SF was actually in vein ^^

The US crack on my EU version of Flatout2 produces crashs all the time. My friend has the same problem, but that's not the matter.
I just wanted to say IT WORKS and as I found out you don't even need to unplug your devices! But this only seems to work for SF4. For SF3 U still need to unplug, hack BIOS.... whatever.

I wonder what happened to the promised Daemon-Tools Pro 1.0 with IDE emulator and all that.

Perhaps they figured "Hey why not delay it as long as possible and perhaps SF will be dropped by most publishers"....

I still hope it arrives but you never know...

It will arrive ... this year .
For newer titles (starting with v3.7.16) there is currently no need for an vIDE as SF have dropped ATAPI check -> those titles run with IDE drives connected.

@Luciel
Go to the 'Properties' of the 'Setup.exe' on the DVD. Then go to the 'Version' tab then click on 'Language' in the list.

You will probably find it says "English (United States)"
