Wasn't sure it was some anti ATI code as the game runs fine on a mates 6800 GT Ultra no matter if patched or not. I've had lag with the original v1.2 EXE too so it's definitely something weird in the EXE that's causing the lag!
This problem is still occuring for people who HAVE installed patch v1.2, like me! Quite a few people still can't get it running, check Eidos' forum! Only using the 2 EXE's I made can I get this running smooth, don't think they'll ever find the real cause.
