Well, I opend the PS2... I can't believe I did that.
I mean, I'm opening computers all the time, but opening the PS2... Anyway, I haven't found any problems, no smell, no melted glue, no nothing. The thing is, as comferting as this might be, I have a real problem. I first noticed it a couple of days ago playing "Shadows of Memories", but now I played Time Crisis 2 (Both games original) and I noticed this problem again. When some sounds are played, there's a distortion sound, really strong one, but only for specific sounds. It happens for loud sounds mostly, but never happens with music, which makes it really strange. I tried connecting the PS2 to another TV - Same problem. The distortion is really annoying (Happens on every volume level) and prevents a clear sound for the specific sounds I'm talking about. Could this be an PS2 internal sound component problem? I'm panicing here, so please answer fast... |
