flashing screen with psx games
i just got an hdtv and when i play psx games on my ps2 the screen keeps flashing between the psx logo and the game screen it happens with both my unmodded ps2 and my matrix infinity chipped ps2 anyone know how to fix it?
the games play fine on my regular tv ps2 games and dvd movies play fine

That is very strange. I have yet to hear of this kind of issue.

Very strange...
I've had modded Xboxes, PS2s, and now my 360 hooked up to my HDTV Projector and never had an issue before with any type of game with this problem. I'd say that maybe it's a setting on your TV somewhere? Worth a look...

i already tried messing with the tv settings im gonna try using the yellow red and white cables later instead of the componet cables and see if that helps

You did remember to switch the video settings in the System Configuration menu didn't you?

the ps2 switched them automaticly when i first coneccted the component cables i think it may be because i have the mad catz xbox/ps2 cable im gonna try getting the sony component cables and see if that fixes it
