OutRun 2006 Coast to Coast no CD?

Just bought this game last night and I see that all the files at GCW are for getting copies of the game to work it, and it says for DVD.

Is there just a straight no CD file that works with the full retail US version? Mine game came on two CD's not one DVD like GCW says.

Thanks.

No, it isn't worth it. It's almost as idiotic as London Racer & Co...

Yes, it is much fun. Lots of things to do and a large variety in challenges and race types. Multiplayer over LAN or internet. It also has one of the best steering wheel detection and calibration menu's I've seen in years. Only $19.95!

If you liked the game in the arcades then you will love it.

Anybody that slags off Outrun 2006, just doesnt 'get it'. Stick to your Need for Speeds or Juiced or whatever new 'urban' street racer is currently on the market.

Muji, its a class game. If you like old school arcade racers, then you will love it.

Ok, I finally had a chance to try the no CD at GCW and it works perfect. The game even loads faster now when starting. Thanks for the tip.

Outrun 2006 is a total blast! What other racing game do you leave the music on and crank it up when driving. Nothing but fun, and in a class of it's own. Outrun is one of the forerunners of all the racing games that exist today. It forged the racing genre. It's not sliding all the time and if you've even played 10% of the game you would know that. And you get the entire Outrun 2 arcade game with it.

I agree, that if you "don't get it" with Outrun you probably shouldn't be trying to form comments on it.

What's with the forum rules pop upthing every 60 seconds?

Does it?? I should only pop up once, that is each time when you first enter the site.

Yeah, I could not get rid of it while reading just one page. That was on my Win2000 machine with dial-up connection. On this Win XP PC and cable I don't get the pop-up at all. At least not yet.

Erm, if you're using FireFox, get your hands on Adblock, pretty great since it also regularly downloads blacklists of porn gifs and whatever crap might pop up when surfing funpic or any other commercial website...
I just manually added the .js of the box which let's it appear, so it doesnt come up any more

Yeah... Sad but true Iīm old enough to know the original outrun. It was a stunning game back in the past... But... Iīm somehow missing something in the 2006er release... Itīs... How should I explain it... Too simple. To less options... ... Flat Out 2 rocks. Much more fun. This is my personal view. If you like O2006C2C thatīs fine. Have fun with, when u like.

Cheers
