Unhappy Oh NO! Duo 2 Acting Up!

Hi All!

I took my PS2 to a chinese store in New York City 2 years ago to have them install a Mod Chip. In my case, I got the Duo 2 chip. It was working fine until recently. For some reason it is not reading backups (CD/DVD). I dont even know what to do? If someone can help out I'd really appreciated.

Thanks!

I take it originals load fine and this problem is with backups only?? What about PSX games. Does it boot them outright or do you have to press and hold reset for a couple of seconds?

to tell you the truth, I never managed to run PSX games. I tried the PSX way of booting but to no avail. The PS2 backups wont run no matter what I do. I had sended my ps2 with my kids to a vacation they took and it came back with that.
It used to play DVD/CD movies and games but now its not doing a damm thing.
