I then ran Alkisecurom and started TQ v1.11. Unlike with the CureROM method (which would start the game but crash within 5-10 minutes), TQ ran and it ran well. I played for about 30 minutes until I exited the game, not the other way around. =) Thx for the tip, WebSurfer. -Optimummind

I tried your method again today, WebSurfer80, but still I get error 6000.
![]() It tells me to unmount, close DT, and try again with original. I have all emulations turned off, have closed DT, and tried it with and without Pr0t.St0p hiding. |

Here is what i do: 1- mount mini-Image #2 in DT (You might want to Close DT after mounting and Keeping emulation options ON). 2- Start AlkiSecuROM. 3- Select TitanQuest.exe. 4- Play the Game. No Proto.Stop no SD4Hide, nothing else. if your version of windows have been installed a long time ago, then it might have a missed-up regisrty. i suggest installing a fresh copy of windows, and trying again. i hope that works. Good Luck.

As for other virtual programs, the ones that had been installed on my computer when TQ v1.11 worked for me are CureROM v2.0.3.1, Daemon Tools v4.03, and A120% v1.9.5.3523.

I used Websurfer's method
(1- mount mini-Image #2 in DT (You might want to Close DT after mounting and Keeping emulation options ON). 2- Start AlkiSecuROM. 3- Select TitanQuest.exe. 4- Play the Game.) And it worked fine, but I changed my settings so that the game would fit my screen resolution, and now it loads up fine, but everything is weird, blocky, and pixelated. Image here . Any known fix for this? My resolution is 1280x1024. EDIT: I managed to revert it to the regular graphic settings (Menu, 3rd box, then farthest tab to the right is Video options), but for some reason if I make it my resolution size the graphics get all messed up. Weird. Last edited by Kairu; 05-08-2006 at 12:16. |
