Which means that there could be a new version soon but right now MB-Lock has the highest priority. After they released MB-Lock they want to concentrate on Pr0t.St0p to make it work with (or against) the latest protection.

I got Darkstar One working now with the latest patch 1.1.

You have to use the old D-Tools 3.47 + Virtual CD Hide 1.0.0.4 to hide the D-Tool drive and than you can play Darkstar One after mounting the Mini-Image.

Try it yourself.

Where can i find this mini image?
Is this the one (last one on the list)
Because i downloaded D-tools 3.47&virtual cd hide,i mount the image,i receive a error mesage from win then the image is mount in D-tools use vrtual drivers,press hide & nothing when i try to enter the game it say that i don't have the DVD....

Has anyone got this working with Darkstar One v1.2?

I think I've tried all the suggested combinations of DT 4.03, DT 3.47, Pr0tStop 1.0, VirtualCDHide v1.0.0.4 and the "bended" German DVD image, but it still keeps prompting to "Please insert original DVD of Darkstar".

When mounting the "bended" image, is it normal to get the message "Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows."?

Thanks for the reply Zulu. That image is better (at least it is recognised as a DVD and contains some "files"), however the game doesn't seem to recognise it as a Darkstar DVD at all, it just says to "Please insert DVD of Darkstar" (a slightly different error to when it fails the check for the original DVD).

Doesnt mean the update/patch has now done anything as you are using an old exe. So basically it is like you havent updated your game at all.
It depends if the exe was actually updated/changed during patching? If not then the old exe would be ok.

in the optins screen i can choose from 5 different difficultys this was changed in the patch so at least some new features work i could not figure out if all fixes and new faetures of the patch work because i´ve experienced problems with inverted colous(looks very funny ) that occure after a few minutes...
