Heres Of Might And Magic NO-DVD excutable

Hi!

I got the EU version of this game. Since I only got 1 DVD drive its a pain in the ass to have the DVD inserted whenever I play the game, so I looked for a NO DVD crack and found one for version 1.1 on Gamecopyworld.
Thing is the executable I overwrote was version 1.01.21 and the executables on Gamecopyworld seem to be "older", numbered 1.01.19. The new executable is causing somekind of a missing directx9 dll problem, which apparently never happened with the original. Any suggestions besides I shouldnt be lazy to swap DVDs?

The EXE is probably from the Russian v1.1 patch as that is not protected with Securom, so a group called Unleashed released that EXE minus the DVD check! It functions just like the Securom EXE, only no Securom

I can also report the EU Collectors Edition v1.2 patch that was released today can also use the EXE from the Russian v1.2 patch also released today, the 2 new maps are there as well as the 'Camera Mode' option and 'Hall of Fame' that are introduced in the v1.2 patch. You also need to have the previous v1.1 patch installed before installing v1.2! Note that Multiplayer has not been tested!

I made a NoDVD from the Russian v1.2 EXE, here's a Rapidshare link for it:

If it doesn't work on your particular language, then it's a case of your SOL!! You could also try updating DirectX to the latest June 2006 release to see if it fixes the .dll problem!
