graphic cards

which is better ati x700 pro 256mb agp or NVIDIA GeForce 6200 8x agp?
ati is $99.99 while the other is $49.99.

I looking to buy one but im not sure if ati is worth the money.

Also, how would i know that my computer is compatible with either one of the graphic cards? Im using radeon 9200 that came with the computer i got awhile back.

I would go with the ati x700 pro 256mb agp here also.. but you can pick up a Nvidia 6800 AGP and unlock some pipes (on AGP) to get a 6800 OC for about $130.. I went with Nvidia after a long ATI fanboy stage.

Reason... much better Linux support..(drivers)

I don't worry myself with graphics to much, so I am likely not the voice on this one.. but don't limit yourself to these 2 cards. AGP is not dead yet!
