Getting tired of Paradox (PDX) stuff ups (Spyro 3 Pal is the latest)

Can't Paradox get it right, already they've managed to completely mess up pathes for Sydney 2000, Toca WTC, Speed Freaks, and now you can add Spyro 3 PAL to the list of games that there may never be decent patches for due to the useless work of Paradox.

For those that don't know the game will start going strange at 30% for me one time when i hopped onto the balloon to move onto the next area, it said, with voices that it was an illegal hacked copy, after which the game started being weird, switching languages, other glitches etc.

I would rather wait an extra week and have them get it right than these stuff ups (which they don't seem to be putting right even) that they're supplying.

Users be warned, if Paradox release a new patch for anything its time to sigh, get others opinions if they work or not because they don't seem to be able to produce anything of a consistant quality.

Don't bother wasting a CD on the Euro Pal Spyro 3 patch (or their US one so I've heard)

OK I agree it's a little frustrating sometimes & a bit upsetting, but I think you are out of order to have a dig at Paradox for this little glitch. Look at all the patches that have worked, when you weigh it up to the ones that have had problems there is no comparison.
The Guys at Paradox do a great job in my opinion and remember they do it for nothing, gratis, FREE. If you can do a better job then by all means have a go and shame Paradox, if you can't, well just stop moaning and be greatful for the patches that do work. Look on the bright side, you can always play the original with none of these problems now can't you.................You do own the original I hope..............Of course you do, your sencible.

It is an unfortunate fact that Paradox seems to be unable recently to release working patches.
I, for one, do not appreciate wasting cds because they have not fully tested their patches!

As it happens I do own the original, but having kids with the youngest being 10 doesn't do much good for the original discs and i doubt I could get the discs exchanged without charge if they get messed up so its far easier to give them a throw away cd-r to play with. However when they can't play with it really its just an annoying waste of my time and a cd-r disc plus they end up disapointed that they can't play the game and if you've ever tried teaching kids to look after cd's and managed it then you should write a book on it.

Why are all you guys moaning? - I can't find anywhere that has the patch (UK) for Spyro 3 - Would anyone be kind enough to help me out here?

Before my "Orginal" gets trashed as normal by the kids.

Come on man if you are not happy with what others do then there is an answer learn to do it yourself and stop wingeing about others that do do a fantastic job most of the time,ok so mistakes are made crist for the cost of a CD your moaning get off your backside and learn how to do it . Pdx have been around for years and dont deserve crap like this.Next people like you will be crying that no one is doing cracks and patches and if that happens then there are only a few people to blame look in a mirror.
PDX keep up the good work from one who has relied on you from the AMIGA days thanks lads.

Well you can copy anything with clone cd.. thats not really the point. You need a supported burner and a lot of people don't have them.

While you can say yes paradox are doing this for free and we shouldn't complain but when what they are doing for free is worthless anyway, as some of their patches have been they may as well not be doing it at all and let some group who are actually able to do it instead of trying to take all the praise and look good because 'they' released the spyro 3 or whatever 'patch'

BIG PAPPA, Paradox's reputation for releasing good quality patches can last only as long as the time they continue to do so.
Recently they have been releasing extremely bad patches that just do NOT work.
Of what value is that to anyone?
In case you have not noticed the quantity of new games released continues and for those that require patching Paradox can no longer be looked upon as a group that can supply WORKING patches.
It is useless to try and defend the undefendable.
The Spyro 3 patch is useless, and if past practice is anything to go by, they will not even attempt to fix it.

For those people who says to just play the original disc, isn't the whole point of patching a game is for modded playstation owners to be able to play games they buy? Even if you put in a original disc into a modded psx, the protection will still stop you so you can't play it anyways.
