Battlefield 2 Problem

Hi,

I am having alot of troubles with my bf2 cd key. This is a completely true story; I have an idiot friend who I later found had stolen many things from my household without me seeing, including money, jewellery, wallets, etc. Aswell, he managed to steal my battlefield 2 cd key booklet. He then proceeded to put some sort of crack on my game, so every time I try to to join a server it gives me an error: Invalid CD Key. I cant uninstall as I will not be able to re-install without having my cd key...so I was wondering how I could possibly retrieve it, or repair my files somehow? I tried patching the game too, but when I go in it tells me its still 1.1 or something on the top right, most likely due to the crack.
Id appreciate any help on this matter.

He didnt put a crack , he just changed your CD KEY with the BF2KEYCHANGER proggie and placed an usuall one found on the net.
If you still have the Games Box and manual you could try to email Electronic Arts with a picture of your box and tell them that your GAME didnt come with a cdkey booklet. That way that are obligated to send you a CDKEY.
