first make an image with cdrwin then apply the crack (found here)..., then burn the image no higher than 4x..for some reason whenever i burned over 4x the game wouldn't work.

I burnt this using WinonCD 3.7 with no problems and that was without a crack. However i have heard that some people have found it mod chip protected. Could it be the modchip?

Yes, it is the mod chip....I've got a 7-pin Stealth 4 Multi-Mode chip that it doesn't detect; however my uncle has an older chip that it detects....Just like Legend of Dragoon...the only game I've had problems with is Sypro: Year of the Dragon (Thank the gods there's finally a patch)

Anyhow, I burned mine with CDRwin 3.8 at 1x on Prime Peripherials media (from OfficeMax...real cheap) and it plays fine on my 1001
