[ask]stil....about king kong pc game....

maybe my problems are dull, but they're really make me mad

it's about how to playing the Peter Jackson's King Kong

i've installed it properly, no problems here

i've patched the 1st cd with mir-pjkkpt (i've made the mdf and mds files 1st from 1st cd)

i've disabled all my optic drive (i unplug the power cable)

i've rebooted my PC

i've installed DT3.47

i've mounted the patch file with DT3.47

and i've lauched the game

it requested me the serial number, so i fill it with one included on the cd

n yet it said
"The disc key you entered does not correspond to the disc in the drive. Make sure you use the correct Disc Key.

What should i do next???Sob.......

As far as i know: the patch tool is for creating a burnable cd-image. Therefore you have to select the media vendor for patching (if you was asking yourself for what this settings were made for).
So: this Patch do nothing usefull, if you just mount the cd image.

But: this patch do also nothing harmful to your image. So it shouldn't make any difference if you mount the patched or the unpatched image. And because of that i would assume: your image isn't "good enough". What were your alcohol settings for creating the image?

I don't always ban people for this but if after all this you still refuse to first read the forum rules before breaking them, then I've got to take action. You're banned for a week. Come back after you read the rules.
