Still having no luck making a useful psx back up? Any suggestions?

I have a copy of cdrwin 3.8 A and C with serial #'s I have also tried to copy just as demo and still no luck I also have clone cd and nero burn but I don't know how to patch a copy after its downloaded to the hard drive. Oh I have psx copy 6.2 also and don't know how to patch that eather. One person said to copy with cdrwin and then burn with nero but how do you get the cue file in nero? Well any help would be greatful for. I have also looked at lots of different setting on different sights and there pretty much the same for cdrwin and I have tried I think just about all of them and still no luck. I'm running windows 98 and using a HP 8200 cd writer plus. Theres one other thing how do you know which patch to use? What does NTSC and PAL and the Trainer stand for? I'm in the US so I know I have to use the us ones but I have tried a couple and one will work and the other will say its not the right one for the bin file, but anyways I have not got apsx backup to work I have a mode chip is there a way to check to see if it is working properly?

Just use CDRwin for everything........make sure you set speed down to one x. Also try clone cd...........but i would just use cdrwin (latest version) cos alot of the ppf patches are for .bin files anyway........

whoa, whoa! no psx backups at all? ever?? ya mum and dad ain't cousin's are they??
well hopefully this will help ya....
if you download a game from the net it will usually be a cdrwin file. (a .bin and .cue file)...just use fireburner1.06...
go to visual cue bunker/binchunker
then right click and go to "load tracks from .cue" then select you're cue file...at the next screen unselect multisession and test
then select ok..and there is a working psx iso.
if you wanna backup a psx game, (where you have the actual cd) just use nero...or cdrwin if you wanna...
in nero: unselect "on the fly" under copy options tab
select continue copying under read options
put 2 for number of retries after error
select..read media cataloge, etc.., read audio data sub channel, ignore read errors
then under burn tab unselect determine max speed and simulation
try that...if it doesn't work, try lowering you're write speed under burn tabs...

hey and if this doesn't help then maybe consider looking up sites to help...such as...search at www.ask.com
that's where all my answers are

oh yeah forgot,...but by the way...
pal and ntsc are different regions..most common is ntsc and pal is for uk and australia and a few others...so you should stick with ntsc...

trainer?? that is a patch for the game...sorta like cheat's except easier to use these,..you don't want these..

and a way to test if ya mod-chip works is to use...ahh,,copied games, duh?? if you really think that all ya games were wasted, try buying a copied game from a market and using that.
