I can try to hack this game for you. Please, read FAQ entry III/4 and contact me via E-mail.

No, an electronic collection of Totally MAD magazines.

I got some files from KILLER_K and I don't think it's protected. It rather simply wants the appropriate CD inserted when you want to view another magazine. The problem is that it's not the usual stuff so I can't do it blindly... So I suggested him to mount images of his original CD's in Daemon Tools.

Shouldn't some kind of redirect be possible? So instead of the .exe file pointing to a drive letter it could be pointed to a folder containing the necessary files...?

Not that I am to good with things like this but I know it worked for Deus Ex (1). Changing the .ini file there so it pointed to a folder with all files from the CD copied into it made it work without the actual CD in it.

Wouldn't it just be better to make an image than copying the files on the HD and cracking???

Since its not a large checking routine, why not just do a 1on1 copy of the media?

Anyways I know your bored about using the cd's, but I guess the program reads the data from the discs rather than store them on HD.

So techincally, you will have to remove the check and change the disc paths to a folder path on your HD where you store the contents of each cd.

I'm sure it's very simple to hack but my problem is that, without the software itself - only a few files that don't even expose the problem -, it's quite problematic...
