psx the Legend of Dragoon

I need help to backup the Legend of Dragoon game.
I made a backup disk but when I test it in my psx it says that has been altered. I though it is because of the mod chip, but I´ve tried in a new psx and it does not work.
Any help would be useful.

simply apply the patch to the bin file b4 burning to cd
