I just made my third coaster trying to patch RES with the amb-res.zip file. I am wondering, has anyone been successful patching RES US version? If so, what is the name of the patch. I am using CDWin38 and ppf2-patch-o-matic. I am able to do everything as stated in the patch, but I can't play the patched version. Is there a difference when running a patch version of the game?

have had no problems w/ amb-res. burned 6 and all work.you might have some bad cds.try verbatium data life plus. also I burn on 2x or 1x

For what it's worth I've made at least 5 coasters by trying every patch including AMB-RES. I even found a site to download KALISTO ISO image and that did not work either. I've burned with both Nero 5.0.3.1 and CDRWin 3.8c with no luck. All I want is a patch for the US NTSC original Resident Evil: Survivor. If you find it first please post it.

I have had no problem with the amb patch for resident evil even burned it at 4x worked ok useing cdrwin 3.7
