Question Race Driver 3 FIXED MDS IMAGE FILE (DPM)

Hi all.

As this is my first post in the forum( the first of many ) i hope i dont go against the forum rules with it.

I've found in Gamecopyworld some kind of fixed mds image.

Have anyone tested it yet?

I've tryed to emulate it in Daemon Tools 4.03, and in other emulation tools, using all kinds of strategy to try and run teh game, but i couldn't made it...

Thank you all for your attention.

Best regards.

Read the FAQ on how to make images work. Also, use the SEARCH button; there are already threads about this game and you may find extra tricks there...

The Mds has to be in the same folder with the same name as the Mdf which is a backup of the entire content of the DVD (a few gigs). If you then disconnect your cd and dvd drives the backup may well work after mounting the mds in Daemon tools!

Talking

hi this is my first post (one of many to come )
i have found if you dont have your system as N.T.and as the fat 32 system you cant make an image lager than 4 gig in alcohol 120%
now i brought this game but did download the demo twice in fact cause i deleted the first but as i have seen you need N.T. to play without the disk
i have the fat 32 so i am if the middle of reinstalling xp pro but i have had it working on another pc just by disconecting the cd drives power i dont like the idea but some of you might have to do the same to get it working with this game

i have also found that starforce nightmare dosnt seem to work with this game i will be waiting for a crack i dont care if it takes a year as long as we dont have to put the game disk in all the time

thanks racemania

Why do they tease us by putting up a no-cd crack that doesnt work?

Perhaps, because "they" have no time to test them themselves?! Hint: post a report in the "GameCopyWorld Support" forum (not here!) to have bad cracks removed.

Unhappy

I think that maybe this time we've been beaten by this protection (Starforce)...

The solution that Gamecopyworld has is (or it was suposed to be...) a fixed .MDS image, and it's not suposed to be a no-DVD or no-CD crack... the question is that it doesnt work...

Disconecting IDE neither, and i have SATA HDD with my OS...

Cumps.

Thumbs up Found .mds file good (at least for me...)

I have an HD image of Toca 3 never used because of StarForce protection problems.
I have tried all the suggestions posted (install virtual drive software, disable IDE drives, and so on..) but nothing was good for me.

Yesterday reading some posts in this Forum I downloaded the Toca 3 .mds file from www.copybase.ch (USA version) :
1) renamed it with the same name of my image file, leaving .mds extension for the file and .mdf extension for the image file.
2) mount .mds with Alcohol 120% (latest version)
3) install game
4) reboot
5) Run the Game and ... it WORKS!!!
No need virtual drive software or disable IDE drives in Drive Manager or something else...

PC conf. :
ABIT AW8-Max with Intel chipset 955X
2 S-ATA HD configured as RAID-0
2 optical IDE
1 USB HD external drive
