Can't play 2 player mode
Hey everyone,
I have made a backup DC game and i can't play the 2 player mode, says i need another controller.... on my original games i can play 2 player modes just fine.. just not on my backup... i have tested the backup on another DC and it works just fine ...any help??

Your problem is common. At least one other person has experienced the same problem, yet his friend's DC works fine in 2 player mode.
If your DC works in 2-player mode on original Dreamcast game discs, your problem is probably an issue with the laser not reading certain data correctly, or your Dreamcast's firmware is slightly different than your friend's machine. The bottom line is that you'll probably never get it to work in 2 player mode on your machine. Are the date codes on your machine and your friend's machine different?

Im not really a DC man at all, but this sounds similar to a problem a mate of mine was telling me about. He told me it was down to the newer version of DC. Is your DC newer than your friends, if it is, that might just be the problem.

Meaning that the newer DC dont read the backups as well.
