Starforce Games + Windows XP Service Pack 2

Hey all,

I was wondering if/why service pack 2 is required to run game backups from images on windows XP protected by starforce (ie. splinter cell chaos theory, X3:Reunion).

If SP2 is required then it's because A) the game requires it (perhaps), B) the virtual CD/DVD emulator requires it (very unlikely) or C) the emulator hider tools requires it (quite possible). Always read the system requirements of the software, before using it. Also, SP2 won't mess up your system, don't worry about installing it. (I did worry but it went right for the first time, even with my quite hacked XP! )

What, the hacked part? Hacking and cracking are two different things, especially you should know that! Yes, I'm hacking my XP so that it runs as efficiently as possible... Some programs don't like it but SP2 doesn't mind it.
