laser problems

ok whats up with my laser here. i just got a new laser for my ps2 yesterday, removed the solder protection and installed it, worked fine played originals and backups, was playing my backed up copy of psychonauts for a while, turned the system off and now it wont boot up a single back up game, boots up my originals no problems at all, but with any backed up games im sitting here for like 30-40 mins hitting the reset button and i keep getting the red screen, the only back up that finally boots after 3 million restarts is psychonauts. does anyone know why im gettin all kinds of problems all of a sudden? i hope i dont need to adjust the voltage of my laser, thats how i ended up killing my last laser, adjusting the voltage always results in my lasers totally dying

wow im relieved now, as i was inspecting my ps2 i noticed 1 stupid wire had come un soldered, could hardly notice it. but i re soldered it and everything is fine again
