playing multidisk games(specifically skies of arcadia)

i have skies of arcadia and its burned. i reached disk 2 and to my dismay, the dreamcast would not let me procede with my game. it simply said "this is not disk 2. insert disk 2." HELP!

I've heard something that I think is related to SOA.

I heard something about saving it prior to the required switch, booting from the next disc and reloading the game. I don't remember if that was SOA or not, but you can try it. Save before you get to the point where it asks for the next disc (just before, I believe), then try to load the next disc and reload the game from the memory card.

hey there

i had a similar situation with Grandia II
at a certain point of the game... a CG was suppose to load..
but then.. it jus skips it .... and it was like 75% into the game
so i decided to save, switch cd's, and load the file. .and it worked.... with th CG's too.. so i assume this method will work.. give it a try..
