Soul Calibur DC.cdi

Hi guys,
I donwloaded Soul Calibur.cdi and tried to burn it as I did with my other working DC games (DJ 3; CD-XA, Mode2 2352 bytes) but this time my dreamcast only shows me an audio cd! Why? Did I do anything wrong? How can I get my cdi working? Please help me.

If im not mistaken most available images of Soul Caliber aren't selfbooting.Sounds stupid but have you tried it with the bootdisk (you never know)

Where did you get your Soul Calibur, that matters.
And you have to burn the cdi with Disk Juggler 2.x, or it won't work. It is a rule that cdi games are always self-boot

My copy of Soul Caliber is self-boot, however it may have been a non-bootable when I got it. I have converted quite a few of my games to self-boot and I didn't keep a record of which ones were already self-boot and which I converted. All I know is I have a self-boot copy of Soul Caliber and if I converted it myself, I used the Echelon self-boot tutorial. It's been a while, so I'm just not sure.

I got exactly the same problem... But, I converted the cdi image (soul calibur.cdi) into a nrg image for Nero. (DJ doesn't work with my HP USB burner)...

Have you found out a solution yet??? This is the first time I got a coaster burning backup.

BTW, my cdi image size is (809,672,243 bytes)... Does this match with yours?

That sounds familiar. I used CDMAGE to extract the files from Soul Caliber and got less than 700mb of files. Then I rebuilt the self-boot disc using Echelon's tutorial. This was over about 8-10 months ago, if memory severs me correctly.
