Laser Intesity

Ok, I'm having a problem getting my DC to see Cd-Rw's and I woudl liek to knwo is there a way to turn up the laser's intenisty. I've looked in the dc around the actual laser compent and have seen no tweaks or anything to that effect, dose anyone know how I can do this or just a way to get it to see cd-rws. Thanks

Ok, I searched the forum and found my answer. It cajn be done but its not worth it. No one needs to reply to this post btu has anyone ever had a case where they would burn games correctly but the dc would only play some of them?

I may have the problem tommorow when I try my first burn using DJ.

use better cd-r's....in my experience the darker the better. i usually get TDK... the easier u can see through the cd the shittier quality they are. just reburn any games on shitty cd-rs that u want to play.

This is not always the case. I have a DC that cannot read the dark blue or dark green CD-R discs. If I use the champagne, pale green or silver discs, I get very successful backups. I prefer the CompUSA 700mb discs that come in a 50 ct sleeve.
