I would vote for TDK. Also, probably, Philips and Fujifilm are among the best. Happy burning!

has anyone tried -
Ridisc Extreme Ritek AAA+ grade Full Face Inkjet Printable 52x CDR -
dont know the technical name for these, this is how they are listed at ukdvd.co.uk.
Ritek DVD's have always worked well for me but never tried CD-R's.

Isn't some (or most?) of TDK brand CD's and DVD's actually manufactured by Ritek anyway?

Yeah, some but not all. Same with Taiyo Yuden. I have purchased maxell dvd-r media that used the TYG02 dye. Someone on here awhile back was saying the Office Depot brand media was actually Ritek G04. These big manufacturers sometimes sell media to others which slap their own logo on them and sell as their own.

I heard the same thing from several sources. Office Depot brand is not bad but in my opinion, the Verbatim's are still tops. I guess I'm too old school to accept anything other than what I have always used.

btw, How goes it there ole Chum? Hehehehe

Hey Sped, Verbatim's my 2¢.

Nice to see you and Warlock are still around. Perhaps we can start a thread in the off topic forum and I can bring you guys up to speed on things regarding all of the Traveling, TV appearances and Magazine photo shoots. Being a local celebrity is very time consuming. I noticed TD has retired. Lufcfan is still here. I have a little break in traveling for the moment so I thought I would stop in and check on things here. Still the same ole threads. LOL
I will post a thread called "CGL" and we can talk there. It'll be a short one.
