Self-boot HELP!!

I tried to convert my powerstone 1 to selfboot but when I tried to burn my data.iso to my cdr, it had an error message. I burned the first session with the audio.raw and put open new session just like the tutorial said. I followed the tutorial to the last letter too. I was wondering if my burner couldn't burn a new session. I have a sony burner

I have been able to burn other games, I normally use Nero, it's the easiest way to burn a game or I use adaptec. My best guess is that my burner cannot open a new session but I'm not sure? Any help would be appreicated

The best method to determine whether your burner can support 'Open New Session' is easy. If the box for 'Open New Session' is checkable, then the burner supports it.

What was the exact error message given when you tried to burn the data.iso file?

Also, make sure you select 'Record an ISO9660 image file' and NOT 'Build and Record an ISO9660 image file' under Backup/Tool Operation.

Also, under Recording Options, make sure the Disc Type is CDROM-XA and the Track Mode is MODE2.

Lastly, make sure the Finalize/Close session and Write Postgap boxes are checked, and that NONE of the other boxes are checked (even the Open New Session box).

Hope this helps.
