Try this..

Right click on the desktop, select properties from the popup.

In the new window goto settings at the end, then press advanced.

Then goto Monitor at the top, then change the frequency to 60hz if it isnt set to that already and try again.

Failing that, you may have changed a setting in the game perhaps to use a resolution that your monitor could not handle.

Most 17" TFT's only go up to 1280x1024

Its unusual...

Is there a driver for your monitor?

Are you using a DVI or VGA cable from GFX card to monitor? DVI usually has a problem with some games.

Other than that I guess the game is trying to start at a higher resolution than normal and the monitor cant take it.

Exclamation JACKED (Missing Video Codec)

Indeed, there's some kind of video codecs problem in this game, which are not included in the installer.

The game runs OK with no crashes (see previous post) but during video sequences I get black screen and hear only the audio.
I tried to run the videos (avi) seperate from the game using latest version of Media Player Classic & PowerDVD 6 but I get the same result.

If someone could tell me what video codec this game is using, so I could install it manualy everything would be fine
