What CDR's do I use?

I have a box full of various branded (Memorex, BASF, Traxdata, etc.) and unbranded CDR's and none seem to be recognised by my DC.

I have a LG Electronics CD Rewriter but the firmware upgrade on their site does not work.

I can burn cds using disc juggler and get no errors, but my DC won't run them.

Could it be my rewriter thats at fault or should I try some different discs?

If so, what are the best discs to try?
