King Kong

Well, Its been long while since King Kong is been released for PC. Its pretty difficult for an average user to play the game after disabling all optical drives and perhaps if the user is using SATA Hard Drive

I am wondering if any No CD Patch has been released to play with a Backup copy ?

Since the game has the StarForce copy-protection, I donīt see a no-cd crack coming...
There werenīt no-cd cracks for any other SF-protected game like
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theroy for example.

the only way to get a copy of a StarForce protected game to run
is with this "mini-image" stuff an plugging off your CD / DVD-Drives...

To me, that sounds not very comfortable - but simple "no-CD-cracks" doesnīt work for StarForce !

Well it may come sooner than you think...

RLD has been cracking SF3.6 lately.

Starforce games are easy to play here this may help : DAEMON TOOLS V4.0.3 released

Dear Community,

today we released the new V4.0.3 of both, X64 and X86(32bit) version of DaemonTools

Please check out our download-section

This version fixed some small and not so small glitches/bugs introduced with V4.0.0 (X86) and V4.0.1 (X64)

One blacklist fixed (a SF-Game, that behaved odd when running from virtualdrive)

RAID-Bugs fixed, too Some reboot-problems also fixed

Nero-issues also fixed

Additional functionality (for X86-version, X64 already contained it since very first version): Disable "Open file handle" dialog, as it seems it annoyed some users.

We herewith also confirm the latest blacklist introduced by Securom (SeriousSam2-patch). This blacklists will not be possible in future versions anymore (as in old 3.xx-series,we will add feature to randomly generate names for driver-parts). As we got info about it, we couldn't fix it with this version, but work is in progress for next release already

EDIT: We also offer a bunch of tools especially for new V4, f.e. Anti-Blacklist-Tools, DaemonScript for V4,Translations and other tools - stay tuned!

Download links :

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/down...tegory&catid=5

I aint listing direct links cause the 64bit url is busy and the 32bit one seem to go to a non eng link and ask to install lanuage files.

P.S, i also posted in correct section, so dont bother to f00king moan, either grab these if you got problems with current build and a game (hoipe it helps you) or STFU and dont

I don't think so..

I've just seen, GameSpot offers downloading full version of this game for $39.99. I'm wondering if we buy and download the game, how can we play it without CD? does it means that version has no protection??

Beware, such "digital download" games need to be activated and then they become bonded to the current hardware and software of your PC. If you change something (replace hardware, reinstall OS), you may have to re-activate the game. And you have a limited number of free activations; after that, you have to pay the whole amount of money again.

It may seem very comfortable but, in the long run, it may be even worse than a physical media in your hand!

Thumbs up King Kong

People, finally! With new Daemon 4.03 King Kong works.http://fileforums.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Without any tool needed, no unpluging (phisycally or virtually) of optical drives.
Just load PJKong.mds (not mdf!), with all options on in Daemon. No Starf**k or anything else needed!
After days (and nights) of tryouts at last I can play King Kong.
If I managed and you will. I tried everything, every single way of description in this forum, nothing worked, with new Daemon it did. Try it and tell me.http://fileforums.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I wouldn't recommend buying it... A great game, but I finished it in around 6 hours, and it has very limited replay value. Definitely a rental.

Glad to hear you happy, but i finished it a week ago. Tired of trying any solution, so i play with my disc. I guess you're very patient boy, because you wait until you can play without the disc.
