Dreadful problem with V4 using Duo2SE

Like always, I can't overcome this problem with version 4 ps2. It won't read back up discs. I've mod every other version and they all worked but the version 4. Apparently, when I pressed and hold the power button, it didn't change to any mode because it loads the original games without hesitation. I highly doubt that the chip is defective.

This could also mean there's no power going to the chip? Please help me overcome this problem. It's driving me crazy. By the way it's a version 4 no gap.

Thanks in advance!!

You made sure all your wires are in the right place, and aren't mixed up on the chip? (I remember that stinging me with an Infinity once, lol )

Otherwise, all I recommend you do is go over your BIOS points and check they all correspond to the diagram and on the chip itself, and check all your points with a multimeter from the chip pad to the next component along the trace from the solder point to ensure you have a good connection and continuity

Good luck!

On some of the points its hard to tell if is's flux or solder bridged. If it was me i would clean up the install. BTW, will it boot PSX backups??
