NFSMW - Integrating 1.3 Patch

How can I find out what files to replace on the original from the patch?

Thanks, Ollie.

Unzip the patch and you will see the files. Now open you game folder and see where you find the similar files you have seen from the unzipped patch. Now copy the patch files and paste them there.

I can't unzip the patch - when I use WinRAR it says "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged". What I need to know is what files the patch replaces or a program which can monitor installations/file changes.

If you apply the patch, you can go to your game directory and sort your files with the "change date" (sorry I have a German Windows, but I think you know what I mean). Yeah check which files are the newest

You can also look at the registry (regedit) and look if there is a history of the game (Installation protocol ore something). This can also be in the game directory (install.log for example).

Or you look at the patch tool while patching and notice the file names (camera would be helpful, because the patch process can be very fast).

If you have decompression errors, you need to update RAR. (By the way, this is covered by the FAQ, you'd better read it through!)

Well its not much of an error, rather that it is not a valid compressed file (or it is not supported by WinRAR 3.51). I will read up on the FAQ though!

Ea Updates mostly do not include complete files. They are Patches.
