gta san andreas: it skips missions

Hi there,

Am I the only one, or not? When I finish the Saint-Mark's Bistro Mission, I get a phonecall from Woozi, asking me if the heist is still on. When I get to the casino, the "Home in the Hills" mission starts. So I get left out of several heist missions.
Please tell me how to fix this...

I was told that it has to do with the v 1.01 patch. It blocks the missions...according to some.
If this is true, how do I uninstall the update, or maybe just as helpfull, is there a hot coffee patch that runs over the update? ( maybe it re-triggers the missions, and if not... still more fun for me)
