See now you shot yourself in the foot (DUKE)

Like ive said before, not all games work on every single machine, its impossible, there is that many combinations of different hardware in a machine that it would be difficult to test one game on all.

Laptops are usually not gaming machines, unless you bought a gaming machine.

Whats your laptop specs, and graphic card? If its one of those onboard intel extremes you can forget playing the game.
