I need alittle advise.

Ive been trying to make backups of my backedup dreamcast games, but to no avail. I read numerous guides and sites plus the Discjuggler faq by isonews.com but it didnt help me any. Ive gone through alot of cdrs because of this problem. Im realitivly new to all of this, so any help would be appreciated.

Ive tried 2 ways, both were done with discjuggler, and neither of them worked. Discjuggler locked up on both. A few times it got to 3% then got stuck and a few times it got nearly finished but then got stuck. (Both of these methods were taken from some faqs.)

1st method:

Put your burned Dreamcast CD in your CD-ROM reader or your CD-R Drive and choose the project 'CD-Player to Image'. Select a name for your image that is going to be created (don't forget to set image size to 80 minutes in 'options' and go in 'advanced' and check 'ignore errors') then press 'start'. Once it's done, just close the window and choose 'No' when the program asks you if you want to save the project. Open a new project and choose 'Image to CD-Recorder' then select the image you've just created before, insert a blank CD-R and press 'start'. It's recommended to use Discjuggler 3.x if you want to backup burned Dreamcast CD as it contains less bugs and more compatibility.

2nd method:

Open 'DiscJuggler'.
Select 'New' and then choose 'CD Copy from the Same Recorder'
Insert the game you want to copy into your burner
In the 'Action' box choose 'Write'
In the 'Advanced' tab choose 'Overburn' and leave the other settings as they are
Hit 'Start'. It will create a temp image on your hard drive.
Insert a blank CDR in the drive
Press 'OK'

If there is anything else I might have left out that you would like to know, please ask.

OK, stevebanned, you have posted ***EXACTLY*** the same word-for-word message that was posted by tuttle twice. Does this (and the fact that your screen name includes the word "banned") mean that you and TUTTLE are the same individual and TUTTLE screen name was banned for some reason?

One thing you'll have to learn on this message board - DO NOT REPEAT YOURSELF. People will deliberately ignore you if you make an ass of yourself by double/triple posting the same long-assed message. Under the "TUTTLE" screen name you posted the same message twice and one of the threads was actually responded to... DON'T MAKE AN ASS OF YOURSELF, and if you were banned under the Tuttle name, and you opened up a new screen name to get around the ban, that's as wrong as whatever you did to get banned. I think the moderators may also be able to ban a range of IP addresses which could effectively ban you and anyone else using the same ISP. Don't force them to do this, as it is unfair to other people who might legitimately post from your ISP's IP range. If you have been banned, stay banned and don't make a new screen name.
