The Path of Neo

Can someone please help me its really annoying me

i have mir-pon.mdf and mir-pon.mds image of path of neo and im using daemon tools and Anti Blaxx, and i have a No DVD fix from gamecopyworld.com and have mounted that image and the original image,

in anti blaxx i have set it all up in the options section and put the compatibility option to windows 2000 in the path of neo properties, and gives
and when i try to play the game it gives me message such as please take out current cd/dvd and insert original and if i change a few settings it says something about a security setting.

can someone possible write a quick step by step that is thorough or something because i have tried lots of things and it is not working

thanks.

Hmm.... I'm not sure about this, but try using Starforce Nightmare to disable your CD drives. Also, you could be mounting the .MDF instead of the .MDS (I doubt it). You NEED to mount the .MDS.

If that doesnt work, try using DABHand's method:

Send a message via ICQ to h3llsp4wn
for sure, ill try it.

i made it in following way:

1. download one of the 5 different No DVD Images. (i have the one named: VOL-TPON-MI.mdf and VOL-TPON-MI.mds)
2. mount the image in your daemon tools 4.00HE and activate, for save, ALL emulation options (turn to on)
3. open the properties of the matrix3.exe and set the compatibility mode to windows 2000
4. download antiblah and select your language (language of your windows version or your game, sorry I dont know. i took german. for example, AB file for english would be antiblah_EN_on.bat. you start this file, before playing and start antiblah_EN_off.bat after quit playing PON.)

that should do it. good luck. hope you will make it.

PON.. Almost there..

First of all.. thanx for all the help in these forums..

second.. what I have read here has FINALLY allowed me to get my game started, but as it loads, I see the icon turn to a little CD icon, then the screen goes completely white for a second, and the there is a solid black square in the upper right hand corner of my screen, while the rest of the screen is flashing white.. I can hardly stand to watch it for more than a few seconds as it is flashing so wildly..

any ideas on what is going wrong? Could it just be an incompatible video-card? (NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400)

thanx

oh and btw.. for anyone else having a hard time getting started.. all I did was:

1. mount and install with alcohol120
2. Run DT, all emulations ON, then close it keeping emulations enabled (only cuz I read it in another post from DABhand)
3. Disabled my real DVD-rw drive in the device manager (right click My Computer > properties > hardware tab > device manager; open up the cd/dvd drives in the list and right click your real drive/s and choose disable (not uninstall). (also from DABhand)
4. Play the game from the desktop icon .. thats all
