GeForce 5600 FX and Punkbuster !!

hi, my friend has a GeForce 5600 FX card, but when he joins a server his whole computer freezes after 3 minutes in the game all the time and has to restart it. This is Punkbuster doing !! I started a server as Single Player and he can join in fine, and he can play fine on a non-punkbuster server. Any way to fix this problem with punkbuster ?? and he is all uptodate on latest video card drivers and latest punkbuster, and even tried it with the original punkbuster when installed the game. Any help? Thanks
