Easy to play Chaos Theory 1.5 with nocd & no unplugging etc

Make full image in Al 120% latest version
Mount in DT4 & install
Double click the desktop shortcut so it installs copy protection
Now restart as asked
Install patch 1.5
Double click shortcut again so it installs the updated copy protection
Restart as asked again
Now mount in DT4, leave all emulation OFF & keep DT4 running in task bar
Use SFNightmare & Disable CD then Node
Exit SFNightmare
Use desktop shortcut to play game

Hope that helps

Weird! As far as other postings go, 1) Starforce Nightmare does NOT work anymore, 2) Daemon Tools 4.x does NOT need to be hidden, 3) all emulation options must be ON and 4) you must NOT leave Daemon Tools in the task bar (rather exit its user interface, leaving the emulation core running)...

The poster either has a Nforce or an ATI chipset. For some reason, SF doesn't work on these, and will accept a virtual drive. (Some people need to disable physical CDs, others like myself {ATI Athalon 64} don't need to disable anything at all)

Cheers

I have a MSI NeoFIS2R motherboard which uses the Via K8T800 chipset. I need to disable CD Drives & Node or it doesn't work. How do I make a video of my desktop & what i'm doing to prove this way works?

Well, number 2 is right
DT4 still sits in my task bar as I run the game

It wasnt about me being wrong it was the way you said it esp the "bull$hit" and "rotfl" part as if i was making it up where as i was mixed up with other games i got installed.

Fact is SC-CT has being the hardest game ever IMO to play without disc, since new till recently, lot of fixes came out just too late as DTv4 hit same week lol.

Wasn't me that posted that stuff you're on about

I know what you mean about it being the hardest. It was ok but with every patch they updated Starforce...

While you still work on SCCT, they did it again: PoP The Two Trones will probably have Starorce 3.6.xxxx too. Another sad day for pc gamers, another good reason to get an XBOX (better 360 ) ASAP.

no need to activate the emulation options - all what u need is a image with correct dpm info. leave all options off. starforce nighmare etc. will not work with the latest starforce version.
