Using Alcohol 120% Choose SafeDisc 2/3x
Speed the Slower the Better (I Have a DVD Burner Liteon Dual Layer)
I created the Image at Maximum Speed successfully.

Started installing "DAEMON Tools v4" Prompted for a Reboot after Rebooting
Finished Installation of "DAEMON Tools v4"

1. I Mounted Image of NFSMW
2. Opened up "DAEMON Tools v4" I did not change any settings in "DAEMON Tools v4" as left all at Default.
4. Right Mouse Click in Tray Icon of "DAEMON Tools v4" & Chose to Mount the Image file. Exit the Auto Run of NFSMW.
5. Started "SafeDisc4 Hide" & chose HIDE
6. Started the Game successfully

Works Perfectly
I wish I had used DAEMON Tools in the Past now the I no what its all about as I have always been patient in waiting for a NO CD or DVD crack to come out.

Thanks

Have you got CloneCD Installed ?

I have found that CloneCD Stuffs up when using SafeDisc Protections

if so Uninstall it & that will most likely fix your prob.

Cheers

EDIT
I should mention to that NFSMW is installed from CD's & no files (Game Data) has been Modified its all originally as installed.

I have CloneDVD & AnyDVD Installed & it works so its not them.

I guess you could try doing the following:

Start Fresh: Uninstall NFSMW & DAEMON Tools & delete all Traces of Registries related to the NFSMW.

Do a Reboot... Then after restarting do this:

You can do the following

You could use MS CONFIG or SERVICES for Disabling & Re-enabling

Diconnect from the internet
Disable everything (Processes) that you no of that are not needed running in the Background.

Now re install NFSMW & Daemon Tools

Cheers, hope it works ?

Yes I do use the CD1 Image & it also has been Created by Alcohol 120%, infact I created the Image at Maximum Speed using the SafeDisc 2/3x

Is it possible that your Burner does not Read BAD Sectors ? Also How old would your burner be if you don't mind me asking... as mine is a Lite-on DVD Dual Layer Burner $89 AUS

Also in Alcohol 120% under the Options where you can set the Imulation etc...

Under Emulation

Ignore Media Type = Not Ticked
Launch "CD/DVD Manager" without "Ignore Media Type" function = Not Ticked
RMPS 9Recordable Media Physical Signiture0 Emulation = Not Ticked

Extra Emulation

BAD Sectors Emulation = Not Ticked
Sub-Channel Data Fixed and Emulation = Not Ticked
LaserLock Emulation = Not Ticked

I have never had them Ticked for any of my Games in case your wondering

My Specs
Winxp SP2
All Latest Xp Updates
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
Nvidia FX 5200 128 MB (Driver Version 81.95)
4 x 80 gig Hard Drives
1000 MB of Ram
1 x DVD Burner
1 x DVD Reader

Some Apps that Maybe suss which I have installed are:
Nero v7.0.1.2, Roxio v7.5, AnyDVD, CloneDVD, Copy-Discovery 2000, A-Ray Scanner, NAV2005, NIS2005 & Norton Ghost 9.

Hope this will fix it for you this time round

1. After using SD4Hide.exe and hide all virtual drives, you must close the SD4Hide programm and then start the game.
If this still wont work, simply:
2. start the SD4Hide again, restore drives, close the prog.
3. start the SD4Hide once again, hide drives, close the prog., start game!
Thats it!

You guys go through all that cr@p just to play a game you 'bought' without inserting the CD?

If it is that involved and you do own the game, don't you think it is easier to just put in the CD and play the game? That's what I do. I'm not saying I wouldn't rather have a snappy no CD crack like I have for most of my PC games, because that is why I check in here ever so often to see if there is one. But until then the easiest thing to do is slip in the CD and play NFS_MW.

well have a go with this it.s a way to get the game to run with the cd.s
to get the game to work and i can tell you it dus work

{how to get around the "Insert CD 1" Simply burn the image of the first disc to a CD using Alcohol

In Alcohol, I told it to burn, and selected the Securom (4x,5x) NEW* option, and just ignored the error it

gave me. When I popped that disc in, the game started fine.}

way to play easily: (works on black edition)
-install the game
-make image of cd1 by alcohol or download maxi image from gcw, extract
-download patch 1.3 & install (after using this patch u wont need sdhide or anythig like that)
-mount your image of cd1 by daemon tools 4
-play
