Sounds like something is blocking it, or it didnt install correctly.

What exactly are you doing/trying to do (click this here, type in that there) and what exactly happens/doesn't happen? Most probably, you're just not doing it correctly. By the way, have you read the docs/help?!

I've read the doc.
for what I do... just right click on the icon while it's in the thingie Right down of the corner, it's on the tip of my tongue.. can't get it out.. just right click there then going with the mouse to virtual cd/dvd rom then Device then set device parameters. after that you get a screen where you can choose a drive letter, but none is accepted.. there is the daemon tools loading thingie sometimes it goes for a few seconds sometimes barely noticable but no drive letter is accepted and I can't figure out why any help would be greatly appreciated and for the installation part, I've downloaded installed uninstalled on so many times and got Daemon tools from different sources.. but to no avail. ----- Bus Number 0, Target ID 0, LUN 0 ---- this is listed when I go to device properties for the virtual drive, I'm not sure if this is good/bad ? Go to "virtual cd/dvd rom", then to "Set number of device" and choose 1 or what you like.
Yours seem set to disable. |

that's the problem, I've set it to 1 but it still sais 0 after Device where I'm guessing it should be 1.. it doesn't matter if I change to 2 or 3 virtual drives. |

No drive letter(s) assigned to the virtual drive(s), or virtual drive(s) disappear
Check in device manager if any drivers are installed for the virtual devices. There should be cdrom.sys, storprop.dll and redbook.sys. If no drivers are installed, click on install drivers and point to cdrom.inf supplied by OS (in hidden Windows\Inf folder). If all mentioned drivers are installed, but also some additional filter drivers check this thread, too: h**p://www2.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/showthread.php?t=440 |
