Error help.

Ok in Dj I get the error, while burning, "Drive not Installed". With Nero, at the same point whoile burning, I get "SCSI Target error." and "SCSI/IDE error.". Oddly I got these errors after updating my Aspi drivers. Before I updated them I got errors at the same places just with a different description. So if ya got any ideas let me know. Oh yeah and I also tried using DAEMON Tools, same thing happens.

This isn't my first time burning and the game is Super Runabout(Echelon) if that means anything. Using Philips PCRW464K, for future reference it sucks. That is all.

Check that your ASPI layer is installed correctly, it looks like your current one is shafted. You can d/l an aspi check utility from adaptec's website. You could also try looking for either of these 2 aspi layers ASPI_ME and ForceASPI.

Yup did that. I got a "Illegal Command in descriptor black error" in DJ before I updated the Aspi stuff. After updating the Aspi I got these errors, in the exact same spot while burning.

Your recorder isn't listed on Nero's website, which would explain the error, couldn't see it on the Diskjuggler site either. You could try d/l the jinxter generic driver for diskjuggler h**p://www.megagames.com/dc/dc_utils_disk.shtml

Well its definately a software problem.. aka registry problem. I would uninstall any CDR software you have... I would also get REGCLEAN and run it...

It wouldnt hurt to snag a copy of Norton Systemworks 2001 (NOT 2002), and run an advance registry scan/clean...
