Exclamation Civilization IV?

Why is this game not on GameCopyWorld yet? It shipped out on 10/25/2005. I need my DVD player free for other things and would like to be able to play this game without tying up my DVD player. Not to mention I like to store away my install discs so they don't get destroyed by my kids. How do you make a mini image? Is someone going to have a solution soon?

Simple way: Just make a full Image with Alcohol 120 (ca. 1,3 GB). Mount the Image with Daemon Tools 3.47. To play Civ IV just start SafeDisk 4 Hider (you get it at g a m e b u r n w o r l d . c o m) . Now you can start the game and play it without DVD.
This solution works fine. By the way - it´s better than a no CD: there are some bugs, so I am waiting for a update. This solution will work with future updates, I hope . . .

Greetings, 007

Greetings, 007

I've tried this, but I keep getting an error with Alcohol 120, here is the log.

Also when I tried it with nero, it said the CD was copyrighted. Do I need to run safedisk 4 b4 I do this or is it just for when I mount the image with daemon tools to play the game?

btw, what is (ca. 1,3 GB)? Is that the DVD file size? I have the 2 disk CD copy and I'm trying to copy disk 1 to my HD.

I got it at Fry's. It was only 38 bucks(not including tax) for the collectors edition. I think the only extra we got it the box was the game soundtrack, but the collectors edition at fry's was the same price as the regular one.

Oops, my bad!

So I read through the forum rules which have changed since I first registered. I guess my request for the crack was a bit early, so sorry for that.

The only thing I don't understand was that Luciel posted "a crack which WE DONT DO is not on the site" in regards to Civilization IV. What does this mean "a crack we don't do"? I thought GameCopyWorld was known for carrying cracks to nearly every game created... Why wouldn't it do this one? I just don't understand that.

At any rate, I'll just watch the game crack list and just play this one with my original disc until a crack is available. I guess my other DVD projects will have to be put on hold while I play *sigh*. :P

Thanks all,
King

Group of reverse engineers create cracks. They end up on gamecopyworld for the general public. Gamecopyworld ppl do not make the cracks, only submit/host them for other ppl to use.

So when cracks come out doesnt depend on how many kids whine about having to find the original CD, but when the reverse engineers feel like it. And requesting for cracks wont do you jack ****. No one cares if you have to put in your original CD. If this sounds blunt, you might as well stop using the interent because it also can be just as blunt.

How do you make that Image, which options do you use? There was another thread in this forum about that here in the forum (I think you have to read subchannel data, but I am not sure). You have to use the right options then it works . . .
