How do i get Info on Cracks

How do i keep myself up to date when it comes to release of cracks by all sort of cracking teams... there was that guy here in some post who said, "it must be a fake because none of the teams announced they released it", so where do u actually "see" these announcments, do they have sites? what are their names (teams)? i just want to be in a position that ill know when a certain crack is released... game's name doesnt matter...

any help would be apprichieted

Pre channels, doubt you get in there, or easier on nfo sites.

Pre channels used in irc, are channels of warez, ftp, fxp groups where bots shows the new releases way beyond before they get to p2p as emule or so.
Nfo-sites are just boards or sites where the .nfo files of warez and crack groups are announced.

See NFOrce (http://www.nforce.nl/ ) for a more or less authoritative source on no-CD patches and other stuff released.

oh thx there joe, didnt see your reply when posted mine... are there any more nfo sites such as these? and i figured these "teams" are called groups?
anyhow, is there a way of knowing if such group is "working" on cracking a certain game or if there is a certain estimated release date for certain cracks...

ok ill make it easier... i am waiting for a crack to be released, B&W2, i dont know how long can it take, or if its under work or whatever... just looking for info actually

If there was public information about upcoming no-CD patches and how cracker groups organize their work, that would make the job of the police/FBI/CIA/NSA/KGB/Interpol/whatever even easier. So, no, there isn't any.

As for other NFO sites, there may be a few but I have no idea. Actually, NFOrce is a relatively new one; before it was created, there was ISONews but it's gone now for a few years...

oh makes sense indeed

so basicly in order to know when this crack is released i simply need to check this nfo site daily for it, or dl every crack i can see till these fake cracks stop showing up? a bit premitive :P but well... if thats what we've got

But dont even attempt (to original poster) to look for pre-channels, they will not let you within smelling distance of one..

Just keep an eye on nforce or if you have newsgroup binary access goto

alt.binaries.games.dox

They usually are first for any no-cd's and trainers..

But dont get the illegal stuff there, people have been misusing it to get people to run infected files..

Telling intimate information about cracker groups would make it obvious that you're in some relation with them. Then comes the police/FBI/etc to your door pretty soon... So, I don't think it would be a very good idea for anyone. (And no, I'm not related to any group, I have nothing to offer them, in these days of hard-to-crack commercial copy protections. )
