In need of NoCD for Heroes of the Pacific
Hi. I just got Heroes of the Pacific a few days ago and would like to play it without the original CD (backup CD). So far I've tried using a virtual DVD-ROM but it says "Original disc could not be found or authenticated." (i.e. it is not the original). I've been unable to find any fixed EXEs or images. Anyone have any ideas?

You have obviously created an image of the game as you say you have tried using a virtual drive? So I presume you are mounting your image in either Alcohol or Daemon Tools?
If so also try usin SR Stop! It is available from GameCopyWorld. (I think) This "Original disc could not be found or authenticated." is a Securom message and SR Stop should stop it! It works on other Securom games so you may be lucky. P.S: Please post back here to let others know if it did work like I said.  I dont have the game so I cannot test it for you but like ive already said that method works for other securom games.

I am already using SecuRom 7 Stop.
"Emulator detected! Please deactivate virtual drive and emulation software." is the message given ordinarily (it has detected Daemon and/or Alcohol) After using SecuRom 7 Stop, it no longer says that message (therefore we can assume it has worked) and now says "Original disc could not be found or authenticated."

Fix for Heroes of the Pacific
The post made by Slandaro on 19th October on how to get F.E.A.R. working applies also to this game. But follow the instructions carefully.

You need a good .mds file.
make image with Alcohol 120% from your Orginal DVD, set DPM to High and measurespeed at max.4x.Then mount it and use SR7 stop(maybe you must set compatible mode to win 2000 at the .exe properties). Last edited by DR_Thodt; 21-10-2005 at 08:37.

Pc Game "Heroes of the pacific"
ive also tried what the others are saying to do about this game playing Heroes of the pacific. I get the same messages in the window pop up as well about not bein able to play.
Has anyone actually got the game to play without the cd to now?
