Need help for JAPANESE PS2

Hi I'm from Europe and have a pal ps2 with action replay and NEO chip. All backup's that i have are work perfect on my ps2!!!
But i wanna play the backup games on a friend JAPANESE PS 2 with chip and UTILITY DISC v.1.0 ( he uses the swap trick on his own backup games ) What kind of patches do i need !!!!!!!!!!!

( PS: i try pal to ntsc but doesn't work )

Can somebody explain me what to do THX ALREADY !!!!!!!

I had the same problem with my Jap PS2 - the PAL patches didn't work. So I went to the local radio Shack equivalent in the UK (Maplins) and bought an NTSC to PAL convertor. This enables PAL backups to be played in colour on the Jap PS2. The device is removed for NTSC games.

The device I use connects straight to the yellow/white/red AV leads supplied with the Jap PS2.

You could spend a lot of time making coasters with the patches.
