Explain this one

I downloaded the Sim###ns Quake rom. It wouldnt burn as a cdi so i used cdi2nero. Burnt it using nero. Ok nero you need a bootdisk so i loaded the boot disk and nothing happened so i popped the disk into my writer to check the files and there was a exe. I was then playing the game on my pc. I totally tripped out.
My 5 yr old son put the disk into the DC a few days later without using the bootdisk and it worked fine.
Am i a space cadet coz i totally tripped out big time.

Okey... I always test all my burned games to see if they work w/ and w/o the bootdisk first, and I dont know where you got the idea that all nero based games need a bootdisk, cuz that is obviously not true (i burned ct2 in nrg format and its self-booting). As for that sim###ns mod I dont even know what to say, its obviously not a real dc game, and it must be one weird rip if it works on your dc and your pc w/o an emu.

When burning the game check the image info first - if it has two sessions - then it self-boot, if only one session - it requires Boot-CD. Very simple...
